Micro-POD: What We Are Building and What We Must Validate

Micro-POD is American Graphene’s proprietary, modular, isolated, AI-managed, multi-phase, multi-chamber carbon-to-graphene production architecture. It is designed to accept captured, mineral-bound, carbon-black, and other conditioned carbon feedstocks and progressively prepare, refine, position, and transform that carbon into pristine single-layer graphene sheets within a closed, touchless processing environment.

Micro-POD is not presented as conventional chemical vapor deposition, flash Joule heating, exfoliation, molten-carbonate electrolysis, or a repackaging of published graphene-production pathways. It is an integrated engineering architecture developed specifically around the carbon-to-graphene conversion chain.

What exists today is documented engineering: the system architecture, technical specifications, AI-management framework, production-data structure, and digital-twin design. What must come next is experimental validation — and the distinction matters. Documented architecture is not verified production, and no simulation result substitutes for a physical test.

The validation program spans feedstock composition and preparation, catalyst selection and reaction behavior, plasma-stage performance, vacuum integrity, electromagnetic containment, carbon-conversion mechanisms and mass balance, isolated material transfer, precision deposition, graphene formation and handling, independent materials characterization, safety systems, and ultimately yield, repeatability, energy use, and economics.

Progress through that program will be reported when the evidence is ready. Development targets and simulated results will not be presented as completed production achievements.

Claim classification: Micro-POD engineering objective; not experimentally verified production.
